Priyanka Chopra shook the world when she made her way to Hollywood. The actress started her Hollywood career with a thriller series Quantico and everything fell into place for her. What followed was back-to-back big-budget projects like Baywatch, We Can Be Heroes, Isn’t It Romantic and more. But it looks like PC’s Hollywood career caught someone’s buri nazar ‘coz lately nothing is working out for her.
Priyanka’s much-talked-about series Citadel didn’t turn out to be a major success. The budget of the spy show was reported to be $200 million (Rs 1600 crore) but its slow plotline and confusing screenplay turned out to be a letdown. Recently, a Reddit user pointed out that Priyanka hasn’t delivered a big hit in Hollywood for the longest time now.
A Reddit user shared, “Laut aao didi…😭 it’s really despairing,that even after a decade in Hollywood…not only has she not given a decent hit,but all of her projects are utter flops!!” Many agreed with the fact that PC isn’t drawing a big crowd in Hollywood, unlike her Bollywood films. When Priyanka Talked About Leaving Bollywood
Priyanka’s decision to leave Bollywood surprised many but she had her reasons for it. In a recent conversation with Dax Shepherd for his podcast Armchair Expert, Priyanka shared the ‘real reason’ behind her shift to Hollywood.
The Dostana star said, “I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break.”
All Priyanka needs is one project to shut down the haters for judging her potential. I know you got it girl!
