The new mommy recently made an appearance in Dax Shephard’s podcast Armchair Expert and spilled the beans.
Out of all the truth bombs she dropped on the show, she also gave us a blast from the past about her ‘tumultuous relationship’ when Nick first texted her. Scroll down for a major goss sesh:
How PC & Nick Started Dating!
In a recent conversation with Dax Shephard, Priyanka opened up about her turbulent relationship when Nick texted her for the first time. “He (Nick) slid into my DMs on Twitter. I was in a tumultuous relationship at that time. This is 2016 and we had common friends who like didn’t want me to be in my [previous] relationship. They were like ‘Oh, he is single too. He is not really with that girl but he is..’ It was complicated on both our ends.” said the Dostana actress.
She also revealed how Nick’s brother Kevin Jonas played cupid and pushed him to make that one call to her that changed their entire lives! She said, “I’m really glad because he told Nick, pointing me at a billboard of Quantico,‘You should call her.’ He (Nick) had a few people being like ‘Call her’, so he just DMed me and I was like ‘Why don’t you just text me?’ because my social team will just read these messages. He was like ‘Ya, ya, ya, you just want to give me your number.’ I kinda did, and I didn’t wanna admit it at that time because I was in a relationship.”
Priyanka also spoke about how she was bored of her toxic relationship of 5-6 years and badly wanted to get out of it. But the only thing that resisted her from reverting to Nick for long was the 10-year age gap between them. But as they say, what’s yours will find you! She admitted that it took a while for her to realise that her husband was actually a dear old man stuck in a 25-year-old’s body. And the rest is history!
