It was William Shakespeare who once said, “What’s in a name?” But then again he knew nothing about the hype celebrity baby names can create. Case in point—Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s baby name reveal. Well, it’s a lucky for all of us who have been waiting eagerly. We just got an exciting update about the baby girl from none other than nani Madhu Chopra.
At a recent media event, mama Chopra spoke about how it feels to be a grandmother and said, “Nani bane toh bahut bahut khushi hui mujhe (I am so happy to become a grandmother). I am only smiling all the time. I’m very happy.”
Madhu also revealed that Nick and Priyanka haven’t picked a name for their daughter as they are waiting for their priest to pick one. She shared, “Abhi nahi rakha hai. Jab pandit naam nikaalege tab hoga. Abhi nahi (We haven’t finalised it yet. When the priest gives us the name, then it will happen. Not now).”
Well, we can’t wait for Priyanka and Nick to reveal the name of their little baby girl. NGL, we’re also hoping to see a picture soon. Come on you two, just give us the deets!
Priyanka And Nick’s Cutest Baby Announcement
Earlier this year in January, Priyanka and Nick sent the netizens into a frenzy by announcing that they have become parents. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” the couple wrote on social media.
Since their announcement, everyone has been waiting for the star couple to share more updates about the little one. However, Nick and PC have kept everything under the wraps as of now.
Just a while ago, a source close to the actress spoke about the duo’s decision to opt for surrogacy. They said “Priyanka doesn’t have any fertility issues preventing her from having a baby, but she is 39 now, so it’s not getting any easier. Their busy work schedules also mean that it’s difficult for them to physically be together to conceive when she is ovulating, so some time ago they went down the surrogacy route.”
Well, we can’t wait to hear the name mommy and daddy pick for baby Chopra-Jonas. Till then we are gonna go through baby name books to pick some suggestions and hope Priyanka magically listens to us.
