Last night, Bigg Boss 15 finally came to a conclusion with Tejasswi Prakash winning the show and taking the coveted trophy home. However, while we cheered for the actress, our heart went out to Pratik Sehajpal who stood there all dejected. It looked like Pratik’s whole world came crashing down the instant Salman Khan announced the winner. It showed on his face and the way he held Tejasswi’s trophy with longing and pain.
However, do we really need to see Pratik with a trophy to call him a winner? Because from where we see it, this guy has already won! From Bigg Boss OTT to Bigg Boss 15’s finale, Pratik surely has come a long way and we are so proud. Here is why he’d always be a winner for us:
The Love That He Has Earned
Like always, Salman was seen messing with the top three contestants yesterday before finally announcing the top two. At one point, he even sent Pratik to the sitting area with other evicted contestants thus making it look like he had finished at the number three spot. Interestingly, the dejection did not just show on his face alone. Each one of the evicted contestants looked as disappointed at him. In fact, when Salman finally revealed that Pratik had actually made it to the top two, they all went rushing and started hugging him as if he had won the trophy.
That moment would always remain the highlight of Bigg Boss 15 for so many viewers. That moment is a testimony of all the love that this guy has earned.
The Friends He Made In The House
If there is someone who has actually earned true, lasting friendships in the Bigg Boss 15 house, it is Pratik Sehajpal. Right from the OTT days, we have seen him playing for his friends just like he plays for himself and it shows how much he really cares about his people. Last night, as almost everyone from the evicted contestants cheered for Pratik, we could tell that he has won more than just a trophy in the Bigg Boss house.
The Grace That He Showed
From Karan Kundrra slam-dunking him like it was no big deal to people dragging his mom into fights, Pratik has endured a lot this season. However, it is rather commendable that he never gave it back to anyone by stooping down to their level. He did not hit back Karan after their controversial fight, he did not abuse Jay Bhaushali after the latter did it to him and that speaks volumes about his integrity and character. Safe to say that Pratik fought like a warrior this season.
From coming across as the most annoying contestant on Bigg Boss OTT to winning hearts in Bigg Boss 15, Pratik has been through a long journey in the past few months but this is just the starting. The world took notice of his grace and strength in BB 15 and we are sure that brighter days lie ahead for this champ.
