Bigg Boss 15 came to an end on January 30 and Tejasswi Prakash was declared the winner of the show. What followed next, was quite chaotic and honestly, we didn’t see it coming. Several celebs including Gauahar Khan and Kamya Punjabi expressed their disappointment at the result and called Pratik Sehajpal, the first runner-up, the deserving winner. While the actress’s fans supported her, a few netizens accused the makers of the show of tampering with the votes. They even called her a ‘fixed winner’ and NGL, that’s taking things a bit too far.
During a recent interview with a leading daily, Pratik has finally shared his views on Tejasswi’s ‘controversial win’ and we really like what he has to say.
While talking about the netizens’ accusations, Pratik said that he wouldn’t speak ill about anyone as every contestant gave their best. He said, “I always believe in hard work and luck. I worked hard on the show and so has the other person. I don’t want to talk about whether it was unfair, as everything is fair in love and war. Isse zyada kuch nahi bolunga (I won’t say anything more than that).“
We like how gracefully the actor has accepted the final result and how sportingly he has taken his defeat. And guys, he’s the same gharwala who used raddh every task if things didn’t go in his favour. We have to say, we loved that fierce contestant then, and we’re loving this humble guy now.
Pratik talked about his journey and said that he left his dream of winning Bigg Boss OTT because he wanted the BB 15 trophy. ICYMI, he walked out of the former reality show after accepting the briefcase full of money. But now, despite losing the title, he won several hearts, and that’s more than enough for him. He added that he’s not disappointed with anything and said, “Firstly, I never consider it as a defeat. It may be big claims but I always believe that people who win hearts go on to do wonders in life. My mother’s prayers and sister’s hard work is with me along with my Pratik fam. I know I will make the most of any opportunity that comes my way.”
We’re loving this positive attitude, Pratik! We’re sure that big things are waiting ahead for the actor and if rumours are to be believed, we will see him soon in Naagin 6 along with Teja. Now, that’s exciting AF!
