Tinsel town has been glittering with wedding lights as one after the other, so many stars are taking the shaadi plunge. We’ve almost just recovered from the December hangover where our beloved couples DeepVeer, Isha and Anand, and Nickyanka tied the knot. And now there’s another actor who has gone from ‘in a relationship’ to ‘married’.
Prateik Babbar married his longtime girlfriend, Sanya Sagar in a traditional ceremony yesterday. They’ve known each other for almost a decade now and had been dating for two years before taking their relationship to the next level.

The two-day affair took place at the bride’s hometown, Lucknow. The couple is also looking forward to hosting a grand reception in Mumbai for the film fraternity.
Both Sanya and Pratiek come from political families as he is the son of Raj Babbar and Smita Patil and she is the daughter of BSP leader Pawan Sagar. But what played cupid was their mutual love for cinema.

Prateik Babbar shot to fame with films like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, My Friend Pinto, and Dhobhi Ghat among others. Sanya, on the other hand, graduated from National Institution of Fashion Technology and later went on to study filmmaking at London Film Academy.

Sanya looked radiant in a bright, yellow saree with traditional jewellery while Prateik looked absolutely dapper in a cream coloured sherwani. All in all these two make for one heck of a good looking couple!
