Malika Sadani is the woman behind India’s most trusted baby and mom personal care brand, The Moms Co. Her inspiring entrepreneurial journey started in 2012 when Malika had to return to India after spending a couple of years in London. Her kids were suffering owing to a lack of safe, baby care products. Malika started searching for alternatives. She also talked to fellow moms who were facing something similar. Eventually, Malika realised that she had to create a solution. Consequently, she started The Moms Co. in 2017! She worked with experts across India, Australia, and Switzerland to create natural products for skin, hair, and baby care. Malika wanted all of The Moms Co. offerings to be dermatologically tested, cruelty-free certified, toxin-free, and certified Made Safe. She managed to check all her boxes with The Moms Co. products which made the brand a roaring success even among moms. Sonam Kapoor even talked about how she trusted The Moms Co. products during her pregnancy. In 2021, The Moms Co. was acquired by Good Glamm Group in one of India’s largest D2C transactions. With Good Glamm Group’s backing, Malika is now eyeing the international market!
Power Move
What began as Malika’s quest for reliable products for her two daughters grew into India’s most promising pre-natal, post-natal and baby care brand. Malika’s ‘no nasties’ philosophy has won her several awards including a much-deserved spot on the Business World 40 Under 40 list! The Moms Co. managed to touch the 100-crore revenue rate in 2021, within four years of its inception. But Malika’s recent exit from the Good Glamm Goup came as her biggest power move. She sold her brand to the Good Glamm Group in India’s largest D2C exit!
