I get way too invested in the love stories of Bigg Boss couples. And Mahira Sharma and Paras Chhabra have to be my favourites. While they never made the relationship official, their love was always evident. This is why I was heartbroken when the rumours of their breakup flooded the internet.
They called it quits after three years of a picture-perfect romance. According to the grapevine, Mahira ended the relationship after a series of arguments with Paras. Not just that, she deleted all their posts together and even unfollowed him on ‘Gram.
Paras has finally broken his silence on the subject in an interview with a digital platform. He said, “I am equally puzzled and shocked by the news. I don’t know why Mahira unfollowed me or deleted our pictures from social media.” The Roadies fame confessed that the two weren’t on the best of terms for a while but he never thought things will turn so bad.
“In a fit of anger, I too have unfollowed her on Instagram but once things settle down I will call her and clear the air,” added Paras.
In all honestly, Paras and Mahira have had the craziest of fights even in the Bigg Boss house. But they always found their way back to each other. Perhaps it is another one of their lovers’ spat? After all, not so long ago, Paras declared that Mahira is someone he wants to marry ASAP.
There are lots of ifs and buts in Mahira and Paras’ stories. So, I think it is safe to not hang up our #Pahiraforever t-shirts just now. After all, what is love if not dramatic?
