Ibrahim Ali Khan and Palak Tiwari’s friendship has been in the spotlight ever since the two were spotted together by the paps earlier this year. The two star kids were photographed after having dinner together and their pictures left social media buzzing with dating speculations. In the snaps, Ibrahim looked uncomfortable, and Palak could be seen hiding her face.
Recently, in an interview, Palak opened up on how ‘uncomfortable’ she was after her pictures went viral on the ‘Gram. She said, “This particular aspect is very new to me so that kind of did take me aback, I was like ‘Oh, people care that much’. I was like ‘Okay, I guess’. Because it’s not like I’ve not been seen with other people, I have but… I don’t know, I think it was new to me and I was a little taken aback and it made me a little uncomfortable.”
“I realise that it’s part and parcel of what I want to do and if it is, then so be it. Because I really want to do this job and I’ll take whatever comes my way but I will do this job,” Palak added.
Well, TBH, we can’t fault Palak for her reaction to the paps. She must’ve been surprised by seeing a swarm of photographers hounding her and Ibrahim and perhaps that’s why she reacted strongly at the moment. Social media’s fascination with star kids can be overwhelming at times and it affects their personal lives as well.
This is not the first time that Palak has spoken about the incident. In an earlier interview, the Bijliee Bijliee star shared that she and Ibrahim are just friends, which is why she did not pay much heed to rumours about their relationship. She shared, “It’s just friendship. In fact, it was all just conjecture. That’s why I didn’t pay any heed to it, because it was all very asinine in my head.”
More often than not star kids have to pay the price for their fame by surrendering their personal space which is heartbreaking. No one should feel uncomfortable while catching up with friends or going out, which is why we totally agree with Palak. You do you, girl!
