Padmaavat is finally here, with one extra ‘A’ and no ‘I’. After a barrage of controversies and protests, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited project is all set to release on the 25th of January. We have all seen how Deepika Padukone’s look and dialogues grabbed all the limelight in the first trailer of Padmaavat. The trailer also introduced Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji with unkempt hair and kohl eyes and Shahid Kapoor as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, Rani Padmavati’s husband. And now, with the release date just a few days away, two new teasers of the movie have gone viral.
The first promo has Ranveer Singh’s dialogue that we all have been waiting for. “Hum Khiljion ne saath milkar ek khwab dekha tha ki ek din hamara parcham saare jahaan pe lehraayega,” says the sultan in the middle of a battle.
The trailers are great. The actors look brilliant. The film is finally releasing. Will it pass the ultimate test?
