With only a month until the Bigg Boss 16 finale, the makers are going all out to keep the viewers hooked. This week, contestants’ family members are entering the house in groups of three and we are loving every bit of it. In the latest episode, we saw MC Stan‘s mother, Archana Gautam‘s brother, and Nimrit Kaur‘s entering the house. Nimrit’s father greeted everyone with warm hugs and called the “mandli” the show’s USP last night. However, looks like he has something more to say about Nimrit’s choice of friends now.
In the promo, Mr Ahluwalia makes some revelations about the mandli‘s self-proclaimed leader, Sajid Khan. He also encourages Nimrit to make new friends outside of the group. This irritates the Chhoti Sardarni actress, prompting her to argue with her father. She even accuses him of constantly badgering and never praising her, unlike the parents of other children. Nimrit’s reaction has not gone down well with the viewers, who are judging her harshly for going against her father for the mandli.
The actress is being trolled for talking back to her father on national television. One user wrote, “Nimrit ko sahi toh bol rahe hai ke Sajid ji ne Shiv aur Stan ko keh rakha hai ki Nimrit dhoka degi but ye Nimrit ko achi baat bata rahe hai (Nimrit’s father is right. Sajid always tells Shiv and Stan that Nimrit will betray them. Her father is telling her the right thing).” Another wrote, “At least respect your father on national television. Her father isn’t saying anything wrong. Sach hamesha kadva hota hai (The truth is always bitter).” Nimrit has also been called selfish and self-centred after this promo.
While we do not support or encourage any of this trolling, we do agree with Nimrit’s father. Sajid Khan has repeatedly attempted to manipulate the mandli in order to get his way. When someone in the group disagrees with him, the director has a way of emotionally blackmailing and ill-treating them. We understand Nimrit’s father’s point of view, and it might be beneficial for her to make some new friends.
