How To Play The ‘Never Have I Ever’ Game?
Step One
Make sure everyone has a drink. Those who don’t wish to consume alcohol can choose a soft drink. However, ‘Never Have I Ever’ is traditionally a drinking game as it helps everyone to loosen up and answer questions honestly.
Step Two
Get all the players together in a circle so that everyone can see each other clearly.
Step Three
The first player will make a statement beginning with the phrase ‘Never Have I Ever’ and followed by something they’ve never done before.
Step Four
Anyone who has done it has to drink up!
For example, if the player said, “Never Have I Ever… lied to my parents about my boyfriend,” and you, on the other hand, have done this, then you (and everyone else who has lied) would have to take a sip of your drink.
Step Five
The game continues in the clockwise direction, giving each player a chance to make as many embarrassing, naughty or funny ‘Never Have I Ever’ confessions as they can.
The winner can either be the person who drank the most shots or the one with the most fascinating and entertaining statements. The trick of the game is to ask questions that may make the other players reveal more about themselves than they would normally volunteer. And that’s it!
