Clean Beauty Argan Oil BB Foundation Stick - Birch

With makeup, like in every other aspect of life, if you've built a good foundation, things have a way of working out. Experimenting with a series of different foundations and BB creams made me realise how much I hated the feel of heavy powders, overly tinted creams, and the pilling that comes with them. Despite that, sometimes the only thing that can elevate your look is a smooth base. So when I came across this gorgeous foundation stick, I had to rave about it!

What Is It?

This foundation stick is a light-coverage one that blurs out lines and pores and gives you an even skin tone. If you want something that gives you a natural finish for a day about town, then this is the one to buy. It’s enriched with argan oil making so it doesn’t dry out the skin. It also comes in three different shades, namely Birch, Oak, and Hickory, all of which are tailor-made for Indian complexions. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel cakey at all on the skin. Birch suited me really well and has become my go-to foundation.

Why We Love It

There are many reasons why I love this product, the first being how easy it is to use and blend. It’s a stick formula that glides onto the skin and blends in really well. I’ve got combination skin so I love that it gives me a matte finish without making it look too dry. It’s made with 68% natural ingredients and argan oil making it a hybrid between skincare and makeup. The foundation is from the Clean Beauty range making it free of skin-harming ingredients like parabens and sulfates.

How To Use It

Start with a clean, moisturised face and apply the foundation all over. Dot the stick on your cheeks, your chin, your nose, and forehead, and don’t forget the neck. Then blend it in with a damp beauty sponge and you’ll get a light to medium coverage. For it to last all day, just set it in place using a translucent powder and you’ll be good to go!
