That’s right, the wait is over because the newest bride of B-town has finally shared the first glimpse of her D-Day. We are sure that you’ve guessed by now that we’re talking about Rhea Kapoor! Yes, the producer tied the knot with her long-time beau, Karan Boolani on August 14 in an intimate ceremony. And, while we did get our hands on all the stunning pics of her bridesmaids, we were desperate to meet the dulha-dulhan. We have to say, the wait was definitely worth it. The couple in the pic looks breathtaking and we simply cannot take our eyes off them! Take a look:
The new bride looks stunning AF! We’re loving her off-white lehenga and the golden embroidery all over it. While the lightweight dupatta on her shoulders is adding a traditional touch, the handcrafted veil is giving the outfit an indo-western look. Gotta say, it’s going perfectly well with her straight hair. That’s a fashion pick we suggest all brides-to-be bookmark STAT. The bride’s ensemble by designer Anamika Khanna looks extremely comfy and classy, and we’re in absolute awe.
While she has kept her OOTN light, her statement jewellery is every bit stunning. Her beaded and layered neckpiece along with the Rani Haar are complementing her dainty jhumkas and bold kangans perfectly. Just like her lehenga, Rhea has kept her makeup minimal by opting for nude lips and smokey eyes. A small red bindi is adding that nayi dulhan wala glow on her face and NGL, we are spellbound!
Her hubby, on the other hand, looks dapper in a gold sherwani. And, the way he’s holding his wifey’s hand? Adorbs!
Rhea wrote a heartfelt caption and said that even after dating Karan for more than a decade, she was nervous on her wedding day. Aww! She wrote, “12 years later, I shouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you’re my best friend and the best guy ever. But I cried and shook and had stomach flips all the way through because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I’ll always be that girl who had to come home to juhu at 11 pm before my parents fell asleep. Only until now I didn’t know how lucky I was to feel torn. I hope we make a family so close that we have many, many loves of our life.”
