The plot of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is taking an amazing turn and we’re so excited. Mohsin Khan’s character Kartik is finally realising his true feelings for his friend Sirat, played by Shivangi Joshi. About time, right? With everything going so well, it would be a bummer if the actor leaves the show now or gets replaced. After all, there’s hardly anyone who can play Kartik as good as Mohsin and, to imagine YRKKH without him? Nope, that’s defs not possible. The main leads are the strongest pillars of this longest-running Indian daily soap and fans love them. That’s why a lot of people were worried when it was revealed that the actor might quit the show soon.
ICYMI, Mohsin apparently made that decision because the makers were planning to introduce another generation leap on the show. He didn’t wish to play an older character and had decided to take a short break from TV. A little birdie had revealed, “Yes Mohsin is planning to move on. Since the show is going in for a generation leap, he wouldn’t want to play an older character. So he decided to take a short break. Along with television, he would now want to try out different mediums like OTT and movies.”
Disappointing, right? Well, cheer up because the actor isn’t going anywhere and will continue to win our hearts as Kartik. Scroll ahead for all the deets.
The actor is neither leaving the show nor taking any break. In fact, Shivangi and Mohsin’s fans are going to get a big surprise soon because *spoiler alert* their characters are about to get married. As per a leading daily, “Mohsin is not leaving the show in near future. In fact, a lavish wedding is being planned for the actor along with Shivangi Joshi in the upcoming track which will be one month long.”
One month? Wow, that’s a major treat for all the #Shivin fans out there! While we have already seen Mohsin in a groom avatar several times before, his upcoming wedding on the show will be different. His character has married Naira in the past, but this is the first time he will be taking saat pheras with Sirat. Isn’t that exciting?
Well, the last two wedding sequences on YRKKH were shot in Rajasthan and Greece. We cannot wait to see what the makers have planned next!
