On the first day of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort 2018, one of the most adored couples of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor walked the ramp in white ensembles by Anita Dongre. The designerwear was reminiscent of their wedding day outfits. We agree that after seeing Shahid Kapoor as Raja Ratan Rawal Singh in Padmaavat, it was impossible to ignore his persona, but Mira Rajput Kapoor didn’t look anything less than a contemporary bride donning the designer’s white floral lehenga.
With the no make-up make-up trend taking the front seat, Mira’s look was kept minimal with a muted pink lip gloss, which perfectly complemented the attire. But we couldn’t get enough of her hairstyle. Keeping in tone with Anita Dongre’s collection ‘Songs of Summer,’ her hair was left open to flaunt her soft curls. And if you see her closely, you’ll notice that there were fresh flowers pinned to her tresses. Yes, you read that right! The floral hairstyle is catching on (we all remember Anushka’s wedding hairstyles, don’t we?) and now, Mira has taken the trend forward in this unique way.
Next time you think of accessorising with a flower crown, remember Mira’s hairdo and do something different.
