Wedding bells are ringing loud in the B-Town. First, it was the power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma and now it’s hottie Milind Soman who is all set to take the plunge next year. Yes, Milind has been dating Ankita Konwar who is half his age (Milind is 52 btw) for nearly a year now and the two have been very open about their relationship.
An Entertainment portal Spotboye reported the news of Milind and Ankita getting hitched and quoted a source saying:
“Milind timed his visit to coincide with Ankita’s nephew’s birthday, so he could meet her friends, family and relatives, who were in attendance. Now that the lovebirds have the family’s blessings, they will solemnise their relationship in 2018.”
On being asked if Ankita’s family was okay with the age gap, the source further revealed:
“Ankita is almost half of Milind’s age, the massive age-gap was an issue for Ankita’s family, but now after having met Milind, they are ready to ignore the age factor,”
Milind was previously married to a French actor Mylene Jampanoi who was also his co-star in the film Valley Of Flowers. They exchanged vows in 2006 and their marriage lasted 3 years. Well, while we’re upset to see our childhood crush tie the knot, we are also pretty excited to see what the wedding will be like!
