A Sustainable Option
Apart from being the perfect accessory to spruce up your desi and indo-western attire, these bags also promote sustainable fashion. They are created using repurposed fabric taken from villages in Rajasthan and Gujarat and patchworked together. The materials are historical cut-outs of Rajputi poshaks that were originally created for brides in the culture. Hence, every design only has limited pieces.
Before being placed up for sale, the fabric goes through a hand-dyeing process to tone down the colours, followed by hand embroidery and patch assembly. It takes roughly two months to prepare and will last for years in your closet as your go-to bag!
