Unfortunately, social media and trolling go hand in hand. Hiding behind a fake internet identity, countless trolls have taken up the job of making everyone’s life miserable. Bollywood stars are often at the receiving end of these fatuous attacks and hardly anyone is spared. That said, some definitely have it worse and Malaika Arora is one of these stars who keep getting constantly trolled simply for living their lives.
From getting divorced to dating a younger man, no matter what happens in Malaika’s life, these social media bullies are the first ones to condemn her. Interestingly enough, we have never seen the Dabangg star lash out at people in her comments or posts. Does this mean Malaika pays no attention to this meaningless chatter?
As it turns out, Malaika has another trick up her sleeve while dealing with internet trolls. In her upcoming reality show Move In With Malaika, Mala is all ready to attack trolls *all guns blazing*. The actress recently took to the ‘Gram to share a teaser of her reality show and wrote, “If you thought I was done making news with my moves, you have another think coming! Age, clothes, love life are all old news, I am bringing something new for all of you to talk about – #HotstarSpecials #MovingInWithMalaika , starts Dec 5th only on @disneyplushotstar”
The promo begins with Malaika claiming that she is the woman everyone loves to talk about and asks the viewers to check out the comments under the video if they don’t believe her. She then gets real about being trolled for anything she does. Malaika says, “Kuch bhi karo (whatever you do) people talk, I break up, it’s breaking news. I move on, all hell breaks loose. I’m with my partner, I’m trolled. Take a goddamn walk, I’m trolled.” However, now she has declared war against trolls and It’s going to get interesting. Watch out, trolls!
We hope Malaika’s message is loud and clear for all the haters. ‘Coz let’s face it—this icon ain’t going anywhere!
