Malaika Arora is one of the hottest divas we have in B-town. She doesn’t shy away from flaunting her hot bod and why would she? While she slays at every event with utmost confidence, the internet always finds a reason to troll her. Recently, she attended an event in a super sexy cut-out red dress, and the vicious eagle eyes of the netizens spotted some photoshopping.
Malla posted hot pictures in the Alberta Ferretti red dress that were taken at a photoshoot. She looked stunning in the outfit, which had cut-out detailing on the chest and stomach. Malaika, however, uploaded photos from the same event that she took from her phone and that did not involve any special lighting or professional photographers. She proudly displayed her belly stretch marks in these images, which were not apparent in the photoshoot snaps.
As usual, the internet was quick to spot the editing. While some people trolled her for not “keeping it natural” and setting “high beauty standards,” a lot also came to her defense. One user wrote, “Honestly, I understand her. Even I have stretch marks on parts of my body and I would never show them in fear of judgment,” and another wrote, “She is a mom of a 21-year-old, let’s not forget that. For some skin types, you cannot avoid stretch marks.”
Well, being part of the glamour industry is certainly not easy, and celebrities are always expected to look flawless. So we kind of understand why she might choose to photoshop her imperfections. However, both images were uploaded by her. Why would she upload the one that shows her stretch marks if she actually wanted to hide them? Also, sometimes the angle, pose, and lighting can make a difference too.
Malaika Has Never Been Insecure Of Her Stretch Marks
Given how empowered and at ease Malla is in her own skin, we doubt she would wish to create false beauty standards. We also have proof that the diva has never been ashamed to show off her stretch marks. Check out these pictures to see how the Chaiyya Chaiyya star has beautifully embraced her body.
The internet needs to accept that celebrities are human beings too. More power to you, Malla!
