Salman Khan is launching his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma, in Bollywood with the new movie, LoveYatri. No, we’ve not spelt the name wrong. Salman made the announcement on social media last night that he is changing the name of the movie from LoveRatri to LoveYatri.
Salman didn’t mention the cause of the name change but he said, “This is not a spelling mistake…”
The name change of the movie happened because an advocate from Bihar filed a complaint against Khan, lead actors Aayush Sharma and some more members of the team for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments. A court in Bihar had lodged an FIR against the makers of the films as well.
On the same lines, Salman told PTI, “Some people, I don’t know who they are, have some problem with the title of the film. It is a beautiful title. There is nothing more beautiful than love, so it is called Loveratri. It is not demeaning any culture.”
“We are making the film with Navaratri in the backdrop. We have made this beautiful film celebrating the music, colour, love and the fun of the festive season. We don’t need any publicity like that. Once the film is released, those people will know there is nothing,” he added.
LoveYatri is Aayush Sharma’s and Warina Hussain’s first Bollywood movie. Directed by Abhiraj Minawal, the movie releases on October 5. And is produced by Salman’s mother Salma Khan.
