Kriti Sanon is one of the biggest fashionistas in Bollywood. The actress loves to experiment with her looks and always adds a unique touch to them. Lately, she has been winning hearts with her gorgeous saree looks for Adipurush promotions and media interactions. Sadly, while Kriti’s outfits have been a hit, we can’t say the same about her film. However, looks like the actress has moved on and has come out of the character.
After weeks of embracing just Indian wear, the actress is going back to her Western basics for a little change. Just recently, she was spotted out and about in the city wearing a spaghetti top paired with denim shorts and a beige-coloured jacket. Kriti completed the look with chunky sneakers. She looked chic and we kinda dig the look. But not everyone is pleased.
While Kriti’s OOTD was fairly basic and simple, netizens are not pleased. The actress id getting cruelly mocked on social media for her fit.
Netizens have flooded the comment section of a pap page that posted Kriti’s pic with criticism and nasty remarks over her dress choice. Theyare accusing her of not being fit to play the role of Sita. One user writes, “She’s portraying lord Sita’s character. At least until this film runs in theatres. she should dress appropriate and respectful”. Another one has written, “You played Sita’s role for a famous purpose only, in reality, you hadn’t given any kind of dedication to that role, shame on you.” A third person has added, “Shame for doing the role in Barbaadi Purush and disrespecting our God.”
Don’t these trolls understand the difference between an actor and a character? Do they expect Kriti to wear an orange saree everywhere she goes simply because she played Sita? The internet really needs to give her a break! They have every right to question her performance in the film, but they have no right to chide her for “disrespecting God” simply because she stepped out in shorts.
Kriti Sanon is a true fashionista and a phenomenal actress. Every actor makes a few wrong choices in their career but that doesn’t mean they stop living their life, right? You do you, Kriti!
