Isha Ambani was one of the first celebrity guests to make it to Kiara Avani and Sidharth Malhotra’s Jaisalmer wedding. In fact, the entire Ambani fam was a part of the celebrations. Makes sense considering that Kiara and Isha’s friendship goes way back to their childhood.
Yes, Isha and Kiara are childhood buddies who were classmates at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School, in Mumbai. In 2018, Isha Ambani got engaged to Anand Piramal against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Como. Kiara couldn’t attend the celebrations ‘coz of work commitments. The actress wished her bestie by posting throwback pics from their school days with a heartfelt caption. It read, “There are some special people who are a part of your life and you grow up with. When Kiara Opened Up Being Judged For Her Friendship With Isha
In an old interview, Kiara talked about how she has been judged for being friends with Isha. “I think today with social media, everyone knows everything about you. So when you talk about anything you are just judged. Social media is also something a part of who you are, no one sees the layer and the depths beneath that person. If I put up a picture with a school friend of mine, who happens to be one of…. the heiress of the country, and if I say that I have struggled, they say that how dare she, she is friends with Isha Ambani. I’m like but so what, I’m not her. That has nothing to do with my work life, that has nothing to do with what I go through on a daily basis,” she said.
Well, that’s true. We do not get to judge Kiara or dismiss her talent just ‘coz she is friends with Isha. After all, the actress has proven her worth with exceptional work in films like Shershaah and Lust Stories.
