Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are all set to tie the knot, and being their big fan, I’m keeping a close eye on the updates. With a few days left for their shaadi, I’ve managed to find out some exciting details to share with y’all. From their gorgeous venue to the guestlist and Kiara’s bridal outfit, here’s everything you need to know about the much anticipated big fat Bollywood wedding.
The Venue & The Chosen Dates
I had the feeling that the couple would go all out and guess I’m right! The date is set for 6th February and the venue is Suryagarh, Jaisalmer, a luxurious fortress in Rajasthan. The celebrations are said to span over three days, with the mehendi, sangeet and haldi taking place on the 4th and 5th of February. The couple will take pheras on 6th morning, followed by a cocktail party at night.
There are also two grand receptions planned in Delhi and Mumbai sometime later.
Entertainment, Entertainment, Entertainment
Given the high profile guests, the couple has roped in Shah Rukh Khan’s ex-bodyguard to oversee the security arrangements. Apart from that, they’ve finalised kathputali and manganiyaar artists for the entertainment. Camel rides are also part of the itinerary and the menu will comprise mainly Rajasthani cuisine. I hear that the couple has also arranged for complimentary spa vouchers for all their guests.
The Star-Studded Guestlist
I hear that the celebrations are going to be a close-knit affair with a guestlist of about 100 people. Apart from their family and close friends, Kiara’s Kabir Singh co-star Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput will be attending. Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, and Manish Malhotra are some other big names that are expected to be at the wedding.
The Much Anticipated Bridal Lehenga
Kiara Advani will be a Manish Malhotra bride, that’s for sure! She was even spotted leaving his studio a couple of days back. In the past too, the Jug Jug Jeeyo actress has worn MM on several occasions. But will she go with the same designer for all the events? Well, that I’m yet to find out!
A Little Background
Reportedly, Kiara and Sid started dating on the sets of Shershaah in 2021. Since then, they’ve both tried to keep their relationship out of the limelight. However, on Koffee With Karan Season 7, the bride-to-be spilled some major beans about their wedding plans.
I’m really hoping that Sid and Kiara go all out so I can witness a big fat Punjabi wedding! Nothing comes close to it!
