After looking at the first pictures of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif as husband and wife we wished that there was a second wedding in the box for these two. The reason was quite simple. It was rather heartwarming to see how Katrina had embraced Vicky’s culture and we wanted to see him reciprocate. More importantly, we wanted to see Katrina in a truly iconic bridal look, different from the row of endless red outfits that celeb brides have been opting for of late. Well, guess what? We have manifested what we wished for. Just moments ago, the newlyweds took to Instagram to share pictures from what looks like their Christian wedding rituals and we gotta say–this is the magic that we were looking for. Here is everything about their new photo album that has us absolutely lovestruck.
All Things Magical
When we saw Katrina Kaif in her vermillion bridal Sabyasachi, we were definitely left a little surprised. This is because we were anticipating a more contemporary and out of the box look. Of course, she looked every bit regal but yes, we could not stop thinking about how it could have gone in a different direction. With the enchanting look from her recent uploads, the actress has finally delivered and more than surpassed our expectations. She has again opted for Sabyasachi but this look hits us different. Katrina looks like a vision dressed in a pastel floral lace saree complete with a full-sleeves blouse and a trailing veil. The couture drape has been fashioned to give it a white wedding gown-like silhouette.
The ethereal saree has been decked with a smattering of semi-precious gems and crystals and it is definitely the long floral sleeves that appeal to us as the most stand out details in the outfit. She has finished off the look with a statement choker by the designer and we gotta say that this is the kind of avant grade bridal look that we expected from Katrina. The actress has tried to pay homage to her mom’s British roots with the saree and has definitely given us a trendsetting bridal look in the wake.
Just like Katrina, Vicky too has incorporated a little bit of his mom in his outfit by opting for a rose-coloured bandhgala, true to his Punjabi roots but also in tune with Katrina’s glorious saree.
