A makeup maven in her own sense, all of Katrina’s tips and tricks aren’t hers, she revealed in an interview. She’s picked up hacks from not just makeup artists but also her five sisters! And she spilled he details on her favourite makeup hack she stole from her youngest sister.
The Makeup Hack Katrina Stole From Her Sister
In an interview, the Kay Beauty founder said that she found a way to ensure her kajal stays on without smudging all day long. “The trick I learned from my sister is applying your eye pencil above your lash line and then locking it in with a shadow,” Katrina said and added that this way the eye pencil looks intense and stays on all day long. She does this every single day to define her eyes!
Kaif pats a dark brown eyeshadow over her kajal and this “Never moves and it looks super soft,” according to her. So it not only makes her eyes look more open but also gives her a soft glamm look.
There’s logic behind Katrina’s sister’s makeup tip. Just like you apply translucent powder over makeup after completing your look helps seal the makeup, make it waterproof (to an extent) and doesn’t allow it to bleed, eyeshadow works the same way. Eyeshadow, especially if available in a palette, is available in powder form and does the same job as regular, translucent powder.
