Salman Khan’s Bharat has been in headlines since PC was announced as its female lead. Starting from Priyanka coming to India for the film and then her exit due to, well, obvious reasons, it went on to the rumours about Salman being upset with her and roping in of Katrina Kaif to play the leading lady.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar created a frenzy on the net when he put out a tweet announcing Priyanka’s exit from the film.

And in no time, he put all speculations about who would play the female lead to rest by unveiling his new leading lady Katrina’s name.

We may have not but Katrina predicted this would happen. In an interview with a leading national daily, Ali Abbas Zafar shared an interesting conversation that he had with Katrina on the sets of Tiger Zinda Hai. He said, “When we finished Tiger Zinda Hai, Katrina smiled and told me that I am going to miss her on my next film. At that time, I was quite clear that Priyanka is going to do Bharat. Katrina laughed and told me that she will find some way to be a part of the film. Now she is a part of Bharat, so maybe it was destiny.”
Wondering if it was her keenness to work in Bharat, psychic abilities or just a call of destiny.
The cast of Bharat is currently shooting in Malta. Recently, Katrina took to Instagram to share a selfie of her in Malta. She looked extremely exuberant in her new look sporting beachy waves.
