Kate Middleton’s Gold Gown From Bond Premiere Is Breaking The Internet For All The Right Reasons

Just one more day and Daniel Craig will take over the silver screens as James Bond. The long-delayed Bond movie, No Time To Die is all set to release tomorrow. With this film, Craig will bid adieu to the franchise. It’s the end of an era and Kate Middleton decided to give a fitting farewell to the world’s favourite double agent during the film’s premiere last night.

The Duchess of Cambridge treaded the premiere red carpet alongside other members of the royal family at the Royal Albert Hall, London, and it is her gold outfit that it breaking the internet since then. In a welcome departure from her formal style, Kate decided to embrace some extra glitter for the premiere and here’s everything that we are loving about her uber glamm outfit:

Not too sure about the rest of the attendees at the No Time To Die premiere given that we were busy staring at Kate Middleton. The Duchess graced the red carpet in an embellished gold gown by Jenny Packham complete with a gossamer veil and cinched waist. Kate’s nude gown featured a sheer, tulle panel that was embellished with sequins in gold and silver. The padded shoulders further added to the tailored appeal of the gown. She finished off her look with an artsy updo, bold eyebrows, and a nude lippie.

Clichéd as it might sound, ‘royal’ is the perfect adjective to describe the outfit closely followed by ‘heavenly’ as an equally fitting choice. Rest assured it is surely going down the fashion annals as one of the most iconic ones ever adorned by any member of the British royal family. What makes it all the more interesting is the fact that Kate generally favours simple, classic designs with subtle chantilly laces and solid hues as her top choices.

The closest that Kate has ever come to this level of glamour was back in 2013 during the Tusk Conservation Awards in London when she opted for a silver dress by the same designer. However, it is the stand-out silhouette and the stately design of her golden dress that set it apart. Look closely at her cape and the sequins’ placement is such that they look like unfurled wings. This is a stunning detail and we would have gone equally gaga after it had it been worn by some movie star in a fashion-forward red carpet event.

Long things short, Kate Middleton’s appearance on the No Time To Die red carpet is as historic as the last bond movie with Daniel Crag in it. Pretty sure that our grandkids are going to hear about her gold gown!
