After witnessing their crackling chemistry in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, fans are eagerly waiting to see Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani once again create magic in Satyaprem Ki Katha. The love drama is generating a lot of buzz and fans have already declared it a blockbuster. But looks like not all is going hunky dory with the film. The makers seem to have ruffled some feathers by creating a remake of a popular Pakistani song in the movie.
Recent buzz has it that the film’s makers are planning to surprise fans by adding a remake of the hit Pakistani song Pasoori. The song was originally sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill and was also one of the most searched songs in 2022 on Google. Kartik and Kiara will reportedly start shooting for the new rendition on the 21st of June in Mumbai and the song will be released before the film’s release in June-end.
While the desi fans can’t wait for the song to drop, many Bollywood fans in Pakistan are not happy. They are slamming the makers for ruining another classic song, while others are calling them out for losing their originality. One person writes, “Do these producers are really this dumb that they don’t understand that nobody literally NOBODY is interested in remakes and that too remake of the most popular song of 2022 #pasoori ???? How is remaking #pasoori going to get people to watch #SatyaPremKiKatha ??” Another person adds, “Did they take permission and rights to the song ? Why is this happening”
