We’ve been keeping an eye out for shaadi-related details ever since Karishma Tanna revealed that she was getting hitched to beau Varun Bangera on February 5. And guess what? We have some interesting deets to share with you all.
We already know that their mehendi and sangeet will happen on February 4 and the haldi and the wedding ceremony will take place the next day. And now, we hear that since Karishma is a Gujarati and her husband-to-be is a South Indian, the actress is trying her best to include customs and traditions from both sides in the wedding. A close friend of Karishma confirmed, “The wedding will be a mix of Gujarati and South Indian rituals.” This sounds incredibly sweet.
We also hear that Karishma has bought a stunning Kanjeevaram saree for her grahpravesh event. “Karishma has been planning her wedding wardrobe for quite some time. She wants to do something special for her husband-to-be and her in-laws, so she has picked a pink Kanjeevaram saree with gold embroidery and has also bought authentic South Indian jewellery to perfect the look,” her friend revealed.
That’s not all fam, a little birdie also tells that due to the current case scenario, the couple has cancelled their big fat wedding and are opting for a low-key celebration. Apparently, they’ve shortened their original guest list and the new one includes 50 of their close friends and family members. Multiple reports also suggest that Karishma had planned a bachelorette party with her friends, but she’s put that on hold ATM. Sounds like a sensible move to us.
