When Karan Johar Addressed His Fallout With Kajol– KWK Season 6 Episode 7
Karan Johar and Kajol are childhood friends, however, the two had a fallout a few years ago. In fact, Karan had written about it in his book, The Unsuitable Boy. During Koffee With Karan’s Kajol and Ajay Devgn episode, Karan Johar apologized to Kajol and mentioned that he regrets the bitterness. He said, “ I missed those years when we didn’t speak.I wish I could take that chapter out of my book. I have to say this on National TV but I am really sorry. I shouldn’t have written that chapter.” It was an emotional moment that left Kajol a little teary-eyed too!
When Shah Rukh Khan Showed His Vulnerable Side– KWK Season 3 Episode 9
During his appearance on Koffee With Karan season 3, Shah Rukh Khan got candid and honest while talking about his tiff with Salman Khan. He said, “If Salman has an issue with me, 100 per cent I have let him down.” He further mentioned that he can’t just pick up the phone and say sorry, and that it isn’t because of any ego issues.
“As much as I love hugging people, I can’t hug an old friend and say, ‘come back to me’. Because I couldn’t do that with my parents. I hugged their dead bodies and told them to ‘come back to me’ and they didn’t. So, I’ve lost that quality to call people back. And this is not to create any kind of news byte, but if Salman is disturbed with me, it’s got to do with me and he is completely in the right,” said Shah Rukh. Karan got teary-eyed as Shah Rukh showed his vulnerable side, and it was one of the most emotional moments on the show.
When KJo Revealed Deepika Was The First Person To Know About His Twins– KWK Season 6 Episode 1
Deepika Padukone appeared with Alia Bhatt for the premiere episode of season 6, and it was during this episode that KJo revealed that Deepika was the first person to know about his twins, Yash and Roohi. “I was in a vulnerable moment, we were having a vulnerable chat. I was in Europe, we were there for the Dream Team. And I found out that particular day that I’m having my babies, and they’re twins. I didn’t know what to do ‘cos I was told I can’t tell my mom or anyone. I was in my hotel room and I was talking to her and I wanted to start crying and that time we were chatting and I just told her,” said KJo. He further called Deepika Yash and Roohi’s godmother.
When Shweta Nanda Opened Up On Reading Hateful Things About Her Brother– KWK Season 3 Episode 8
Shweta Nanda is Karan Johar’s close childhood friend, and the two shared an emotional moment on KWK when Shweta talked about why she doesn’t read the newspapers. “Many years ago, there was an upheaval in my brother’s life. I was in Delhi, and he is my younger brother, I have protective instincts towards him. The daily newspapers were writing a lot of things that were unsavoury and unpleasant. It was sort of a character assassination. It just made me very angry and I stopped reading the papers,” said Shweta.
When Karan Johar Recalled Seeing Sara Ali Khan As A Small Kid– KWK Season 6 Episode 5
This one isn’t an emotional moment, but rather a nostalgic one! Sara Ali Khan made her Koffee With Karan debut on season 6, and KJo got nostalgic as he recalled seeing Sara Ali Khan as a little girl when she was getting ready for Saif Ali Khan’s marriage to Kareena.
