Karan Johar is the talk of the town right now. He is the man behind two of the biggest films that are slated for release this year including Brahmāstra and Jugjugg Jeeyo. Meanwhile, Koffee With Karan is also returning with the 7th season and anticipations are high with this one. KJo is busy promoting it all and safe to say, things are hella interesting in his world at the moment. Sadly, he hasn’t been feeling that excited about his personal life.
Karan got into a conversation with a popular media platform recently and talked about his biggest regret. “I wish I’d focused on my personal life a little more. I don’t think I have done that,” he said and shared that he feels like the ship has sailed on the idea of finding love now.
All this while, Karan was busy focusing on his career and kept treating his personal life and emotional needs as an afterthought. “But I think the bigger regret I have is that I didn’t give that part of my life the importance that I think that it deserved at a certain point of time and now, I think it might be too late. I think it’s perhaps too late for me to now find a life partner, and go to the mountains for a quiet holiday with or kind of have someone hold my hand at times,” he said during the conversation. Karan further explained that while he is grateful for having a beautiful family, kids or parents can not take the place of a life partner. “I don’t have that that’s a vacant spot in my life and that’s my deepest regret,” added the filmmaker.
Well, we believe that it is never too late to find love. More often than not, it hits us right when we have given up on the idea of love and this is why we are sure that it is time KJo lives his love story. And when it finally happens, we know that is not going to be any less than a Dharma movie!
