Madame Tussauds has accommodated the wax statues of many talented Hollywood and Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. However, no Bollywood filmmaker was seen at Madame Tussauds till now. But looks like India’s dearest filmmaker Karan Johar has booked his space at the museum. Yes, Karan will soon be getting his wax statue placed at Madame Tussauds next to all the actors he has worked with.
Karan, who is already a multi-talented public figure, has crossed another major milestone of success with this. He has become the first ever Indian filmmaker to have his statue at the world-renowned attraction.

The best part is that the figurine will not just be launched in one city but will simultaneously tour across Asia, which will allow his fans across the continent to see him in wax. The process of turning the statue to life has begun and it will take about 6 months to construct the figurine.
Karan has just revived his father’s 15-year-old project Kalank and has already begun shooting for it. He will also be celebrating the 20 years of his debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai this year, so clearly, the Johars have a lot to celebrate at the moment!
