For almost a year, speculations about Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been taking over the headlines everywhere. The two actors have remained quiet on the topic, but we have just enough photographic evidence to prove that they are together.
The current season of Koffee With Karan has had some of the most entertaining and shocking revelations about patch-ups, friendships and love lives. But until now, they had all been expressed subtly. However, Karan Johar just couldn’t let this one go too easily. While warming up to ace cricketers KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya in his latest episode, Karan made Malaika and Arjun’s relationship status official.
During the course of their rapid-fire round, Karan asked Rahul if he had ever been embarrassed on having met an actor he had a crush on. The cricketer denied it at first, but later succumbed to temptation and admitted that he used to have a huge crush on Malaika. On this, Karan enquired if Rahul’s crush was a result of Malaika currently dating Arjun. Although Karan quickly steered the conversation towards what crushes meant, that one statement finally got the cat out of the bag.
Malaika and Arjun were spotted together on several occasions, including dinner parties and outings. Arjun had reportedly also been on a romantic getaway with Malaika on her birthday.
In fact, Karan had hinted at their relationship when Malaika appeared for a special segment on his show earlier this season. The Chaiyan Chaiyan star came to host a special rapid-fire round with Karan and his guest for the evening, Aamir Khan. As the actress walked on stage, Karan and Aamir reached out to help her down the stairs. When Malaika thanked them for their chivalry, Karan wittily replied, “We are walking down the aisle… that will also happen in your life soon enough.”
We don’t want to jump the gun, but it does look like another Bollywood wedding may be on the cards!
