I’m a sucker for good love stories. Finding your love at a young age and sticking together through thick and thin is not easy. And, that’s exactly the reason why I have been shipping for Juhi Godambe and Siddharth Jain all these years. These cuties have the most epic love story ever! Love at first, changing schools to be together, helping each other grow and evolve—their romance is nothing short of a modern-day fairy tale saga. And, it makes me so emotional to see them as Mr and Mrs now. I mean, from childhood sweethearts to partners for life, isn’t that the ultimate #CoupleGoals? Honestly, their wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love and we are in awe!
When The Countdown Began!
It all started when the Plixxo Superblogger shared a glimpse of her beautiful wedding card on her social media handle. It was wrapped in a delicate sheet and secured safely in a dainty floral box. The couple announced that they’d be getting hitched on July 2 and wrote in the caption, “It’s happening today!!! ❤️ 12 years later, ready for our forever! You guys have been a huge part of my life, and I can’t wait to share every moment of my big day with you soon!”
Juhi also said that she would keep her phone aside for a few days and focus just on her D-Day. But, she promised to share all the beautiful moments of her shaadi ceremonies with her fans. We often hear brides complaining that they couldn’t enjoy their own wedding as much as they wanted to. Yep, the functions can be overwhelming and you won’t even know when the day passes by. We gotta give it to Juhi because she applied her mehendi a day before the actual ceremony. That’s really smart! She said, “Welcome to #SJSince2008 and Welcome to Day 1, my bridal mehendi day ❤️😁 Applied mehendi at my house in Alibaug ❤️🌴 Wanted to apply mehendi a day before our little mehendi party so that I could enjoy every bit of it. The decor on this day had a tropical vibe keeping in mind the destination it took place in 🌴”
We are loving the decor! Just look at those coconuts, wildflowers and storks. So exotic! And we have to say that Juhi wore an outfit that complements the theme perfectly just like her beads and shell accessories.
Because Mehendi Is All About Colours!
For the actual Mehendi ceremony, the fashion blogger chose a vibrant OOTD with a blue undertone that went perfectly with the Boho theme. It’s full of colours and sparks, and we cannot stop admiring Payal Singhal’s amazing work here. To carry a backless choli full of bright tassels is not easy, but obviously, Juhi pulled it off like her every other risque outfit. On the other hand, Sid opted for a kurta-pyjama in sky blue that looked quite serene.
The bride kept it light in the jewellery department and paired her outfit with a chic choker and dainty earrings.
Oh, and the sharara was not just gorgeous, but pretty comfy too. Look at the happy dulhan flaunting her moves on the song Kithe Reh Gaya. Pure love! From her tiara to delicate mesh sleeves covered with beautiful zardosi work, every single detail of this gorgeous lehenga by Falguni Shane Peacock India is crafted to perfection. NGL, when Juhi Godambe took over our screen with this dreamy attire and we were left in awe! So, we already mentioned that the new bride was looking like a queen at her Sangeet ceremony. But now, we are going to tell you the secret behind her flawless look. Her parents! Yes, her mom and dad did her makeup and hair, and honestly, this video is making us super emo RN. Take a look:
In the caption, Juhi wrote that her parents, who have worked as makeup artists for more than four decades now, were extremely nervous while getting their daughter ready for her special day. She wrote, “I’ve never seen my dad this nervous, although he didn’t show it but I know what every breath my dad takes means, so I knew how important this makeup was to him ❤️ I know growing up so many brides asked my parents will you be doing your daughters makeup one day at her wedding, and they always thought that day is years away. But now here we are.❤️”
You guys, I’m not lying when I say that I grabbed my tissue box when her dad said that he wanted her daughter’s makeup to be perfect because she’s perfect. Aww! She concluded her caption and wrote, “Just want to say, ma and puppa, I’m SO PROUD to be your daughter. And I felt like an absolute princess the day you dressed me.
