It is always nice to see Bollywood celebrities dressed in stunning outfits by Indian designers. But nothing beats spotting your favourite Hollywood star wearing your fave designer! Jennifer Aniston recently made headlines when she was seen wearing a Manish Malhotra lehenga in one of the scenes from her upcoming Netflix film, Murder Mystery 2.
Deba McGuire styled the ivory ensemble, which featured the designer’s signature chikankari work and subtle shimmer. The outfit took three months to make and Jennifer looked every bit stunning. However, unlike our B-town divas, Aniston isn’t used to pulling off heavy Indian wear and was taken aback by the weight of the outfit.
In a recent virtual roundtable interview, Jennifer expressed how she gained another level of respect for Indian women after wearing the outfit. She said, “It was extremely heavy, and I wasn’t expecting that. So much respect for all the beautiful women of India who have to not only wear it but dance their butts off. We had a really good time.”
Jennifer’s look captivated not only Rachel Green fans like us but also her co-star, Adam Sandler, who wore a white Manish Malhotra sherwani. He stated that she looked “absolutely stunning.” After all, only Jennifer Aniston, at the age of 54, can look equally gorgeous in a lehenga and a sexy bikini.
Aside from the intricately designed lehenga, Jennifer also wore matching chandbalis. These were much heavier than the typical diamond earrings she is used to wearing! To complete the look, the actress wore a beautiful haath phool.
Kudos to Jennifer Aniston and her stylist for pulling off this look so effortlessly! I can’t wait to see how it looks in the film.
