The makers of Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan starrer Bawaal recently hosted a star-studded special screening in Mumbai. As expected, the premiere looked nothing short of a runway. We spotted some of our fave Bollywood stars who made sure to bring their stellar fashion A-game with them. But while some successfully dazzled the carpet with their style and looked bawaal, there were others who almost missed the fashion mark by an inch.

Hits
Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor was the star of the night and her gleaming outfit certainly screamed that for us. The GenZ star wore a figure-hugging silver gown that perfectly accentuated her curves. The plunging neckline added an oomph to her whole outfit and the long train was like icing on the cake. She added a pair of silver embezzled heels and her dewy makeup perfectly pulled it all together.
Nushrratt Bharuccha
Looks like Nushrratt is back on the fashion track after a series of missies and we are all for it. The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress graced the blue carpet in a pristine white dress that made her look like an apsara. The corset-style bodice and the thigh-high slit were enough to take it all up the notch. She added a pair of clear heels and dainty rings that sat well with her dreamy look.
Khushi Kapoor
Khushi, who is yet to make her Bollywood debut, attended the premiere wearing a dreamy white dress. She looked breathtaking without stealing away from her sister’s thunder. Khushi further completed her look with a pair of pearl earrings, a dainty chain necklace, and a gold bracelet. Brownie points to those cherry-red lips that added a pop of colour to her look.
Varun Dhawan & Natasha
Varun and Natasha were certainly the best-dressed couple at the screening. For the night, Varun wore a classic black suit that perfectly complemented Natasha’s gleaming silver dress. A pair of transparent heels, a statement necklace, and earrings perfectly completed her OTT dress. 10/10 for that!
Pooja Hegde
Pooja Hedge seldom disappoints us with her outfits and her latest look was no different wither. She wore a striking figure-hugging ruched dress that was definitely apt for the night. However, it was the deep plunged neckline that added risqueness to her overall ensemble. A pair of white glitter heels completed her look.
Misses
Nora Fatehi
Nora Fatehi has definitely mastered the art of dressing for big events but this time the actress-dancer didn’t get the memo right. At the premiere, Nora looked underwhelming in a Barbie-inspired top and a pair of denim jeans. While the outfit looked great, it wasn’t exactly the best choice for such a glamm night.
Tamannaah Bhatia
We always love to see celebs experimenting with their outfits. But Tamannaah’s OOTD was definitely not it. The black and white striped blazer and polka pants combo is actually making us scream in pain.
Mrunal Thakur
Mrunal owned the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival with her fashionable fits. But we are a tad bit disappointed with her look at the premiere. Her take on the pantsuit style was definitely refreshing but it wasn’t working in her favour. A different pair of shoes might have saved her look.
Rakul Preet Singh & Jackky Bhagnani
Rakul and Jackky always turn up to be the best-dressed couple at events, but their look for the night was nothing out of the ordinary. Their outfits were an amalgamation of formal and causal dressings that didn’t go well with the screening night.
Well, what a night! Now can’t wait for the movie to release soon.
