With a net worth of over $100 million dollars, one can only imagine the amount of clothes and jewellery Isha Ambani would own. While we’re sure the size of her wardrobe would be the same as some of our bedrooms, the entrepreneur believes in sustainability. Being the Ambani family’s only daughter, Isha could literally buy herself a new piece of jewellery every day. But apart from repeating her jewellery and outfits, we have also seen her borrowing from her mother, Nita Ambani!
The Wedding Wow!
Isha Ambani’s wedding is one of the most memorable weddings to date. The bride looked stunning in a gold Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla lehenga that is said to be worth Rs. 90 crores! However, Isha made the outfit priceless by draping her mother, Nita Ambani’s 35-year-old wedding saree on her shoulder like a dupatta. Iconic!
Emeralds Are Meant To Be Shared
At the NMACC launch, Isha decked up in an Indo-western ensemble from the shelves of Anamika Khanna. She accentuated her look with a diamond and emerald neckpiece and matching earrings. The magnificent diamond necklace featured three huge emeralds hanging at the bottom. Turns out, it was the same necklace worn by Nita Ambani in 2016 at a wedding! We love how Isha restyled it seven years later with the same elegance!

The NMACC launch wasn’t the only time Isha wore her mother’s jewellery. In 2019, Isha attended her cousin’s wedding in a gold Sabyasachi anarkali. She accessorised the outfit with a long emerald and diamond necklace and matching earrings. The stunning long necklace worn by Isha was also borrowed from her mom! Nita had earlier worn the same emerald necklace on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi in September 2018.
Sustainable Diva
Apart from borrowing clothes and jewellery from her mom, Isha also doesn’t mind repeating her own, unlike other divas. For her younger brother, Anant Ambani’s engagement ceremony in January 2023, Isha spruced up her ivory Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla anarkali with a long ruby necklace that came with matching earrings and a maangtikka. While her jewellery caught everyone’s attention, not many are aware that she had worn the same jewellery at her twin brother, Akash Ambani’s wedding in 2019 as well!
If someone like Isha Ambani can make sustainable fashion look so cool, then why can’t we? Kudos to the diva for making borrowing and repeating outfits and accessories so normal!
