Jennifer Winget is a legit phenomenon. The actress has never failed to deliver with her performances and is one of those few stars who can make a show work all by themselves. Truth be told, we have been in awe of Jennifer ever since we saw her as Piya in Shaka Laka Boom Boom. We have been waiting for her Bollywood debut for years now and looks like it is finally happening.
According to the grapevine, Jennifer is going to play the lead in Aashiqui 3. It’s hard to think of a better choice for the film and this is exactly the kind of Bollywood debut that Jenny deserves. However, the film’s director Anurag Basu is yet to confirm the rumours and sounds like he is deliberately keeping us hanging in mid-air.
Anurag talked about the prospects of Jennifer being a part of the film in a recent interview and said, “Well, I’ve been also hearing about these rumours. However, honestly, we’re currently at a very nascent stage. We’re currently ideating about various other aspects of film-making. Casting will be locked later on.”
Well, we suggest they lock Jennifer first and everything else will automatically fall in place!

Earlier this week, Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt announced the third instalment of the ultimate romance saga. The best part? Our favourite chocolate boy, Kartik Aaryan is all set to play the lead role in Aashiqui 3.
The Luka Chuppi actor shared the update on Instagram and wrote, “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum 🎶 #Aashiqui3 ❤️This one is going to be Heart-wrenching !! My First with Basu Da”
In a recent interview, Kartik expressed how delighted he was to get this chance and said, “The timeless classic Aashiqui is something I grew up watching. And working on Aashiqui 3 is like a dream come true. I feel privileged yet grateful for collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt for this opportunity. I’ve been a big fan of Anurag Basu’s work and collaborating with him on this one will definitely shape me in many ways.”
While we are sure Aashiqui 3 is going to be an impressive project as it is, Jennifer will add so much more to the film. Can anyone drop some hints in front of Mr Basu?
