Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in June. He has returned from his treatment in London and is feeling much better since. The Hindi Medium actor has been an inspiration for us all, with his positive attitude and motivational posts on social media. After struggling with his health, the actor returned to Mumbai in mid-March and has already begun shooting for his next film, Angrezi Medium!
Irrfan’s wife, Sutapa Sikdar, a Bollywood producer who is the mind behind Madaari and Qarib Qarib Singlle has penned down a heartfelt letter post his recovery. Sutapa thanks the actor’s fans, friends and family who have been praying for his recovery.

That brought tears to my eyes! This couple has known each other since college and tied the knot in 1994. They were both part of the National Drama Society (NDS) and that’s where their love story began!
The actor himself also shared a few words on Twitter, thanking everyone around him for their love and support as he travels back in good health.

The film is set in Udaipur, Rajasthan and will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in lead roles. Sources state that Kareena and Irrfan will play the parents to Radhika, who will be playing the role of a young girl who wants to pursue her education in the UK.
