Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s fans have been eagerly waiting for September to arrive. Any guesses why? Well, of course, it is their wedding month. And looks like the preparations have begun jor shor se! Speculations about their big fat shaadi have been flooding the internet ever since they exchanged rings in a dreamy ceremony. So now that the buzz for their wedding is at an all-time high, we are here to share another big update with y’all!
A while back, we learned that Pari and Raghav are planning to get hitched among the picturesque landscape of Rajasthan and have been venue-hunting for months. They are also reportedly planning a grand reception in Delhi. Now the latest buzz suggests that the couple will be hosting a week-long celebration to mark their union. The festivities will begin by Sept 17 and they will be held at The Leela Palace, Udaipur.
A source exclusively told the Hindustan Times that, “Only close family members and friends will be staying there. For the other guests, all luxury properties in and around the wedding venue have been booked. It’s going to be a grand Punjabi wedding. The celebration will end on September 24.”
Now, we all know that Pari has a lot of friends in Bollywood while Raghav comes from a political background. So just like their engagement, there will be many high-profile guests gracing the occasion with their presence. Talking about the same, the source shared, “As a lot of politicians will be attending the wedding, the hotels have been told to beef up security arrangements. A recce is underway by the police to ascertain a security plan.”
Meanwhile, India Today reported that the wedding rituals will take place at the Leela Palace and The Oberoi Udaivilas from Sept 23-24. There will be more than 200 guests and 50 VVIP guests and the preparations are underway.
