Imran Khan Is Apparently Back, But First Let’s Talk About His Vogue Shoot

When we think of wholesome Hindi cinema, Imran Khan is the first person who comes to mind. He changed the lover-boy image for us – from someone who fights the goons, to someone who’d just talk you out of a fight. The recent Vogue cover was a reminder – of the good old times. It’s fashion and nostalgia, packed together. The cover features him in a Rosani lattice cut-work white shirt with a collar. This look is very beachy… very Ken-ish, very him.

Next is a pyjama suit by Divyam Mehta. It’s a casual monochrome attire. He styles it with white socks and a white vest. The look works perfectly for him, because you see him as a personality that screams “comfort”. And what’s more comfortable than a pyjama? These are a lot like Jai’s checked shirts, but better.

The coat then comes off, and we get a look at the tatoo. The look is paired with a black pants from Amaare, and he is posing with what looks like a macaroon. The look is hunky, and he’s proved that he can be both cute and sexy. A VERY RARE COMBINATION.

Finally, there’s a big red bow with a tailored look. He sports an Amaare suit, with Gucci shoes, and the shirt is his own. Imran Khan with a big red bow is Imran Khan in a nutshell. He has this soft-boy energy who feels like a box of chocolates. Too cheesy?

With his neat, salt and pepper hair, the tattoo, the poses and of course the looks, we get reminded of what we’re missing out on. We’ve talked so often about Imran as the rom-com guy, we forget that his sartorial choices also always seemed very comfortable. Even when he sports something classy, it comes down to ease.

If this Vogue cover is to be taken seriously, Imran is, in fact, back. And we love every bit of that news.
