After a hectic week, you need to pamper your tired skin. Getting a facial done is the one of the best ways to go about it. Instead of visiting the salon every time though, you can do a fabulous job at home! It’s pocket friendly and super relaxing if you ask us. Get ready to get your hands a bit messy and give your skin the love it deserves. Here’s how to do a basic facial at home. Have fun, ladies!
Homemade Facial Step 1. Cleanse your face well
Before you begin your face care, it’s important focus on cleansing your skin of dirt, makeup and sweat! Use a mild face wash and wash your face with room temperature water. If you want to go the natural way, apply a thin layer of almond oil on your face and wipe it off using a damp towel. It works like magic!
Homemade Facial Step 2. Exfoliate some more, baby!
If you want your skin to look refreshed and hydrated, the next step is to exfoliate. It not only helps remove the dead skin cells, but also leaves your face feeling smooth and baby soft. You can also make a natural face scrub by making a mask made out of honey, sugar, lemon juice and water. Blend all ingredients well and massage it on to your face in a circular motion. Wash it off after 15-20 minutes with lukewarm water.
