You’re Probably Missing The Most Important Spot To Use Bronzer

Since having a sun-kissed glow is perpetually in style, it’s no surprise that bronzer has become a staple in our makeup bag. But we often have questions about the application of bronzer or what does it do? When applied to the face, bronzer adds depth and warmth, giving the skin a healthy flush. It should be used as a finishing touch but right before applying blush and after a full face of makeup.

The right application of bronzer can make a world of difference, so if you don’t know how to use it, now is the time to fix that. Here is all the information you require about a sunkissed bronzer application.

Here Are Five Spots You Should Focus On For That Sun-Kissed Glow

Concentrate On Your Eyes

By adding some warmth to your eyelids, you can quickly achieve a seductive appearance and lessen the appearance of tired eyes. Grab a fluffy brush to blend the bronzer in. Start from the lash line up towards your crease for that snatched look. The formula of a buttery bronzer will help draw all the attention to your eyes.

Flaunt Your Jawline

By applying bronzer to your jawline, you can give the appearance of having a more chiselled face. Use a soft, fluffy brush and a matte bronzer. Then, apply this mattifying bronzer on your chin and drag it until you reach an inch from your ears. If you want a more sculpted look, the key is to always opt for a bronzer that is about two shades darker than your skin tone. Next, go over your jawline with a clean powder brush to blend everything together.

Don’t Forget Your Temples & Hairline

In particular, if you want to give the impression of a smaller forehead, you must focus on bronzing your temples and hairline. The forehead will appear smaller because the darker colour will cast a shadow-like appearance around the target area. Following the three-shape method is advised. Think of your temples, cheekbones, and jawline as the three-part shape of the number three on either side of your face. After picturing the shape, apply your bronzer in that shape.

Define Your Collarbone

Bronzing your chest and collarbone will add some definition and glow to the area. Focus on bronzing the divots on both sides of your collarbones. While you’re at it, you should also apply a little highlighter to the tops of your collarbones (and even your shoulders) for a nice highlighted look.

The Sculpted Cheekbones

You already know this, but your cheekbones are the most preferred area for bronzer. As a general rule, lighter shades (and highlighter) should be applied to your face’s higher points, while darker shades should be applied where shadows naturally appear. Swipe some bronzer onto your lower cheekbones, then some highlighter onto the tops of your cheekbones for a sculpted and defined look.

Sun-kissed skin is always in.
