After an internet-breaking Cannes debut in 2019, Hina Khan is all set to return to the French Riviera this year and we expect nothing but a blockbuster fashion innings! Last night, the actress gave us a teaser of what’s to come and now we just can’t wait!
Hina attended the UK Asian Film Festival yesterday to showcase her film, Lines. While the movie received great accolades, it was her pristine outfit that stole the show. Here’s everything we are loving about the look:

Hina was felicitated with the “Trailblazer” Award at the UK Asian Film Festival and the actress chose a stunning ivory Tarun Tahiliani ensemble for the occasion.
Hina’s look comprised of a silk draped skirt and a sheer off-shoulder corset top which was nicely accentuated with tonal embroidery. Her front-open chanderi jacket added a regal touch to the look. Hina finished it off with emerald danglers that infused some colour to the all-white fit. In the beauty department, the actress went with a messy updo and nude makeup to keep it tastefully understated.
From the classic colour palette to the chic details, the outfit makes an impact. Plus, it is from an Indian designer. The last time we saw Hina on an international red carpet, there wasn’t even a single Indian couture creation in sight. Later in an interview, she even talked about the prejudices that she faced from Indian designers just because she started her career in television.
“All these big designers in India still look down upon TV. ‘What, kisko dena hai? Oh, we don’t do TV!’ They won’t give it to you. Trust me, that divide is there” she said while talking about how she had to rely on international designers like Ziad Nakad and Alin Le Kal for her red carpet appearances.
Hina Khan has proved that she has a solid red carpet presence and her Tarun Tahiliani outfit is a testament to that. Here’s hoping that the actress gives us some more headlining looks at the Cannes Film Festival!
