What’s the Bigg Boss house without its iconic love stories? Over the seasons of this reality show, we’ve witnessed a lot of romance and connection. However, not all of them have lasted outside the BB house. While some of the couples ended up tying the knot, other love stories fizzled out. But ever since Bigg Boss 13, we haven’t been able to forget the Punjabi singer-actress and the loverboy who made heart-shaped parathas and gave us some major relationship goals. Yes, we’re talking about #AsiManshi. But TBH, Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana have left us confused with their cryptic posts on social media.
There have been speculations about Asim and Himanshi’s breakup for a very long time now. In fact, just a while ago the duo unfollowed each other and also took down several couple pictures as well, before following each other back again. Amid all this confusion, Himanshi has opened up about her relationship with Asim in an interview with a leading daily. Revealing that they’re going strong and steady, the Punjab ki Aishwarya Rai said that marriage is a big commitment.
Himanshi shared that Asim has recently started working full-fledged, adding that ‘it is the time for him to grow and excel’ which is why they are not thinking about marriage. “I am also working round the clock and have some amazing offers. Getting married means we will have to give time to each other. Currently, we are working in different industries, the mindset is very different,” said the actress.

Pointing out that there is a lot of difference between their upbringing and religion, Himanshi said that they don’t want to ‘rush and mess things up’. “Marriage is a big commitment. We don’t want to get married in haste and then later on our relationship becomes a joke for others. We want to be prepared for it and want it to happen at the right time. It will be a mature decision,” added Himanshi.
Himanshi also revealed that it is not very difficult for them to manage a long-distance relationship as they understand each other’s profession well, adding that they take flights to meet each other every now and then.
The former Bigg Boss 13 contestant shared that she often gets jealous of Asim because of the bond he shared with her mother. She also added that she shares a lovely bond with Asim’s niece. “I sometimes get jealous because my mom forgets to message me but Asim and she talk daily on messages. Asim’s niece is very fond of me and she sends me voice notes. She loves my style and keeps messaging about gowns, lehengas. She is always in touch with me,” said Himanshi.
Well, we have to admit that we’re a tiny bit disappointed that we won’t get to see #AsiManshi shaadi any time soon. But we’re also glad that Himanshi cleared the air and let us know that the couple is still going strong!
