Shalin Bhanot entered the Bigg Boss 16 house with a sense of entitlement while feigning humility. “Mujhe ghar ka kuch kaam nahi aata,” he declared in his introduction video. And then he was quick to add, “maine show dekha bhi nahi.” In the days that followed, we witnessed many colours of Shalin. With more than half of the screen time dedicated to the actor, we saw him struggling to hide his true side. But looks like he is already tired of the charade.
This has been an intense week for Shalin and the man has started losing his calm. He tends to get aggressive at the smallest of inconveniences and it’s becoming evident that he is one of the most toxic contestants in the Bigg Boss 16 house.
Sheer Arrogance
Earlier this week, Shalin was called to the medical room where an expert was waiting for his check-up. However, Shalin was in a weird mood and started asking questions from the medical expert. His body language got intimidating as he said, “Kya padhai ki hai tune? Kya padhai ki hai? What have you studied? Tell the team, I want to talk with them. You are not qualified to treat me. I am on record telling this. You are not at all qualified to treat me. You must be MBBS.”
What did the medical expert do to deserve this? He was simply there to help Shalin. Plus, if Shalin wanted to have a chat with the Bigg Boss team, he should have reached out to them. How was threatening an outsider going to help his case?
The ‘Tu Janta Nahi Mera Baap Kaun Hai?’ Attitude
In new footage from the BB house, Shalin can be heard making some tall (and problematic) claims. “Bring it on. Main waise hun aapko pata nahi hai. Aapne mere bare mein na padha hai na suna hai. Main aapko sach bata raha hun kisi ke baap main dum nahi hai. Maine kuch kar bhi diya na mere paas panel of lawyers hai,” he brags in a conversation with Sajid Khan.
Is Shalin trying to say he can break the law and get away with it? WTF!
Liar Liar
Tina Datta and Shalin’s growing proximity is currently the talk of the town. In fact, in last night’s episode, Shalin even ended up saying “I love you” to her during a playful conversation. Naturally, Tina wants to know more about the man she is getting involved with and this is how they ended up talking about Shalin’s broken marriage. She wanted to know if things actually ended up on an ugly note like it was reported in the media. Shalin denied it and said he is like “best friends” with his ex Dalljiet Kaur. He further added, “Let’s not talk about things.. because I really don’t want to. But it will be funny when I will tell you. You will be like ‘what, really? Really?’ and you will ask me ‘why don’t I speak about this? Because I don’t talk about it.”
But guess what? Dalljiet has an entirely different story to tell. Last night, she took to Twitter and wrote, “No I am not your best friend shalin. Meeting once in a month or two months for the sake of my child does not qualify as friendship.I wish you luck with your love life but leave me out of your fictions and stories please. And u r calling it funny? really?Tina no hard feelings for u.”
Seriously, what is wrong with Shalin Bhanot? He is old enough to know that he can’t simply go around spewing whatever crap comes out of his mouth. It’s national TV for God’s sake! Here’s hoping Salman Khan sets him right in the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode!
