The excitement for Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is at its peak ahead of its release. Meanwhile, the makers added more to the buzz by hosting an exclusive star-studded screening on July 25. Many celebrities and A-listers were in attendance to show their support for the film. While Ranbir Kapoor attended the screening and cheered for Alia Bhatt in the cutest way possible, Ranveer Singh’s better half was missing. Of course, it got everyone talking! A few days ago, Deepika Padukone attended Manish Malhotra’s Bridal Couture Show 23/24 along with her mother-in-law Anju Bhavani. She was there to support Ranveer who, along with Alia, walked the ramp for the ace designer. However, her absence from the RARKPK screening caught everyone’s attention. And it turns out that the Pathaan actress had to miss the event due to her work commitments. On July 24, DP was seen at Mumbai airport.
Deepika’s Reaction To RARKPK’s Trailer
Though DP couldn’t make it to the screening, she’s already excited about the movie. “Deepika is really excited and is looking forward to seeing the movie. She loved the trailer and she understands what it means to me to be in Karan Johar’s directorial as a lead. It is a big deal. He is one of the eminent filmmakers of our country. She knows that it means a lot to me and she is very excited for me. She is very excited to see this performance. She keeps singing the songs around the house. I cannot wait for her to see the film and know what she thinks about it,” revealed Ranveer at a recent press conference.
Well, we know Deepika is a supportive wife. And just like most of us, she can’t wait to watch the movie.
