While Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding preparations are in full swing with all their friends and relatives gearing up for the big day, sister Rhea has a beautiful wedding gift for Sonam. If reports are to be believed, then Rhea has planned a surprise luxury honeymoon for the soon-to-be-married couple.
Isn’t that sweet? Well, that’s what sisters are for! But bhai Harshvardhan is also not behind. Recently, at the trailer launch of his upcoming movie Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Sonam’s brother Harshvardhan was asked about his sister’s wedding preparations and here’s what he said:
“I am really happy that she is getting married. Anand is a great guy. However, I have been very busy with my film ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ so I do not know much of what’s going on with the preparations.”
Harshvardhan’s movie is all set to release this month and when asked how plans to enjoy the wedding festivities amidst the promotions and other movie-related work, he replied:
“Well, the whole occasion will get over by May 8. And I have enough time after that for the promotion of my film. So yes, I think I will handle everything pretty well.”
Confident, hmm! We like it!
Well, after this came the best question and an even better answer. When he was questioned on what he planned to give his elder sister as a wedding gift, he gave an answer that made us laugh out loud. His reply:
“A hug. Really, I want to give her a lot of love and good luck. No gifts because I am broke. Look at the kind of films I am working on, they really do not pay that well, so I really do not have anything to gift her.”
As witty as that answer was, we also think it was pretty sweet. Lots of love and good wishes is what every bride needs from her family during her wedding. What better gift, eh?
We can not wait for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding festivities to begin, because with all the excitement and effort that is being put into the preparations, we are sure that it will be a grand event.
