For reasons unknown, Rinky, a lawyer by profession and Sohail, an entrepreneur, filed for divorce within the first year of marriage. However, Sohail continued to be in touch with his ex-wife’s best friend. The two even started an event management company together. That’s when their love story began and a month later, on 4 December 2022, Sohail proposed to Hansika in Paris.

Soon after, the couple had a grand wedding at Mundota Fort and Palace, Jaipur. But Hansika couldn’t escape the critical eyes of the trolls amidst all the cheer and joy of getting married. She was abused, name-called, and trolled.
